Welcome to the SB 204-A Zetari Station

Greetings, and welcome to Starbase 204-A: 'Zetari Station', Task Group 5.9, and the adventure of a lifetime. We're Commodore Julianna Kaye, the station's Commanding Officer and Captain Garth Triss, the Executive Officer.
Zetari Station is an Athena class space station positioned in the heart of the Gamma Quadrant, just a stone's throw from the Spinward March Wormhole. As the major Starfleet Hub on the outer edge of explored space in the Gamma Quadrant, we see a lot of species from all over the galaxy. To assist in the station's exploratory and defensive endeavors, the Akira-X class USS Mjolnir-A has been assigned as our support ship. She has proven herself time and again in both battle and exploration.
Feel free to browse through Zetari's website. If you have any questions or comments, we'd love to hear from you. The Command Team can be reached via the Zetari Command List; we respond to all hails as quickly as intergalactically possible.
Whether you're already a crewmember, considering joining, or just passing through, I would like to personally thank you for your interest in Starbase 204-A. 'Live long, and prosper.'

Greetings crew!
An ok week, much slower than last. I'd give us a C as a grade for this week, primarily given the number of unexcused crew. There are a few things I'd like to remind us all of as we start this next plot. We all want things to flow smoothly during the plot, especially since we have a tendency to slow things down during plots. Let's make this one different!
First off, duty comes first. I know that we all love building our characters, especially those of us on Zetari, but in order for this to be a Trek SIM that works smoothly (like a well written episode), it's important for us to write a variety of logs, both duty and personal. We have mastered the personal logs and at times have a tendency to lean to far to that end of the spectrum. Please remember, one of the rules is 'one quality duty log per week'. That means a log where your character is clearly working and doing a task related to his or her position. It's great to write logs that develop relationships with other crewmembers off duty, that is fun and exciting both to write and read, however it is extremely difficult for the plot to progress if you're not writing your character on duty. There is going to be a lot for each department to do this week and next, that is duty specific, so please ensure you're trying your best to play your collar color ;)
Secondly, joint logging is fun, but best when you write something of note when it's your turn to post. Essentially, it's important to write more than one sentence, consistently, as your contribution. There have been a handful of log this past week (and before, but this is SR 201, so let's focus on week 201 ;)) where there is clearly a discrepancy in the log. One character will have two paragraphs of description and script and the response from another is one sentence. I know that at times a short reply is the best, but when one person is doing a majority of the work the fun quickly dissipates. Seeing as we are here to have fun, try your best to add lines of substance in your joint logs!
Finally, I'm a broken record, but I can't seem to make this resonate with some of you ::eyes the 00 peeps::, if you can't log - submit a log excusal (on site) or email zetari-command@ucip.org and let us know. It's as simple as that and will save you from our wrath. Ask Bo, the wrath of Juls is far worse than you imagine.
Other than that, welcome to week #202 and the beginning of Dramatis Personae!
Juls

Happy 200th Week, Zetarites!!!
This proud SIM has made it to a milestone that some SIMs never live to see. There are a select list of people I'd like to recognize who have been awarded both the 100th and 200th week ribbons. They are: Bo, Kelso, Dak, Towers & Donna! Additionally, although they're on leave I'd like to recognize Chris & Trisa for also making it another 100 weeks. Finally, Joho was around for both, but left us in between. Thank y'all for sticking with me this long, I am constantly amazed at your seemingly infinite levels of endurance and patience, especially Bo :) To the rest of you, I hope to see you at week 300 as well!
This week marks our last week of R&R, so make the most of it. We will be starting our next plot at the beginning of next week, which will take place at home, so don't worry too much about wrapping everything up by Sunday, you'll still have a few days IC to deal with those loose ends before we get into the full swing of things.
Good job logging this week, I challenged you (in channel) to get 75 logs, but we missed it by 1 log! We also had a surge in unexcused SIMmers, so please be mindful of sending in excuses. I'm a broken record, but it's a necessary reminder (it seems). Seeing as we almost made the challenge, I'll keep the bar there - Let's hit 75 logs this last week of R&R, I know that we can do it!
Congratulations again on week 200, you are truly an amazing crew! In recognition of your efforts, you've all be awarded the Zetari 200th Ribbon, which is awarded for being a member during Zetari's 200th week of existence. Check your bios, you'll see it on your awards list!
Happy SIMming,
Juls

Hey Crew,
Report #199, I swear, I remember report #100 like it was yesterday. Oh the excitement and anticipation is killing me!!! Good week of R&R, I just love reading what y'all put out during these times and if we all didn't love our duties so much, I'd vote for an R&R SIM, maybe something based out of Risa. No, I hate the beach, maybe the mountains. Ah, yes, snow!
To business, however, there are a few things I'd like to bring up this week. First, we've had a lot of new people join (hello new people) in the last few months, so it's time for our triannual formatting reminder. This information can all be found on the site at http://www.ucip.org/zetari/index.php?page=siminfo , but for ease, I'm going to put it here. I don't care if you've been around as long as me, or if you're the newest member to our family, please read it!!! :D
The following three items (Title, Location Identifiers & Character Signatures) should be a part of every log that crosses the list, regardless of content or nature! They should be formatted and used as follows:
Title: Type of Log - Position(s) - Rank(s) & Name(s)s - (Optional Log title)
Remember the stardate is added for you by the website, so no worrying about that :)
Location Identifiers: Always start your log (Towers, et. al.) with a location identifier. This is something like =*= Main Operations =*= or =*= Promenade =*=. I realize that you may make it clear in the first few paragraphs of your email, but for ease of summarizing and reading, we like this to be the first thing in the log. If you change locations in the middle of the log, please remember to put a locator tag in there as well!
End of Log/Character Signatures: Likewise, we appreciate if you end the log (=*= End Log =*=) and follow that with the character signatures (those that were in the log, that is). If you're uncertain of what you're signature should be, check the site for specifics. Mine (which I can type in my sleep) reads:
Commodore Julianna Kaye
Commanding Officer
Zetari Station
As always, if you have any questions email us :) It's why we're here! Have a wonderful week of SIMming and enjoy the R&R!
