Kennedy moved forward and rescued the hostages as Redding was able to disable the Cardassian position, using platoon members to secure the passage home. Captain Thompson orders the Vindicator out of the nebula and returns the ship to SB 22, after a brief skirmish with Callenian fighters. Jacobsen's interrogation continues at the hands of the Krivaldi. LtJG Tam Stadi ran engineering during the battle and Ens Bishop rushed to the Ops station after arriving and later encountered his engineers, disguised as a Callenian. Desmond Steele was on the bridge when the ship reached SB 22. Ens Meth reported in to Capt. Thompson. In Sickbay, Thompson met with Kryton and Vance, who announced their marriage plans.
