Thompson beams to the emporium, where he meets the magistrate and the discussions continue. The magistrate considers releasing the hostages and Thompson returns to his shuttle. SSarg Redding meets with PFC Kennedy and orders him to return to duty. Redding begins the next mission and Pvt Kennedy is able to secure the objective. Suffering from the Callenian virus, LtJG Vance imagines himself in a better time and place. LtJG Stadi and 2Lt Zyren try to raid the Emporium, but retreat when they learn that the Captain has begun negociations. Major Perkins arrives at SB22 and waits for the Vindicator to arrive. Ens Reid encounters a fighter escort but asks to continue repairs on his shuttle. Ens Knight, Ens Kryton, and LtJG Vance met in Sickbay, where Vance's disease was treated.
