I'm pleased to see that we're at a normal level of activity and that the plot is moving forward reasonably well. In Fleet news, UCIP's Commander in Chief resigned. The Senior Staff will soon choose a replacement, someone to run UCIP in the interim before the revamp is complete. This has very little to do with us, as a sim, but it is curious to see who will be chosen. Our medical department seems to have an unusually high number of unexcused absences this week. During the trip, his shuttle is disabled and he heads toward an asteroid, broadcasting a distress signal. Pvt Kennedy is training on the holodeck when he has a medical emergency. SSarg Redding tries to obey Zyren's order to get the platoon into shape. Capt Thompson tries to give the Vindicator some distance from the service, when helm stops responding. Ens Bishop discovers the source of the interference and counteracts it. Cmdr Dex'ell led the away mission. The Callenians fired a test of their weapon as the away team studied the atmosphere. They discovered an iron-stealing bacteria that might harm the away team. James Vance and Erin Kryton spent a beautiful Callenian night together and Kryton left the away team, to follow a young girl she met. Dex'ell was informed by the Chief Security officer that the Callenians were watching them. Dex'ell and Jacobson form a team to hunt down Kryton and Vance leaves teh shuttle, on his own initiative. Vance is quickly captured and stunned by the Callenians. In Engineering, Stadi works to counteract the EM fields propogated by the Callenian ships that are interferring with the Vindicator's systems. Later, Capt. Thompson drops by and he agrees to a plan to polarize the hull to fix the problem. The Callenian military decides to surround the Vindicator and they bring Kryton in, for interrogation by the Legatus. Dex'ell returns to the shuttle with Jacobson to find that Vance and N'Zor were gone, possibly captured. He sends a message to Thompson, appraising him of the situation.
