This has been a very busy week, and I want to congradulate you all on making it possible. Also, Dex and Jim, the work you did on the nav deflector was not overlooked. I awarded the both of you for it. For the work you did and the massive logs you put forth, I award the both of you three items. The Manhiem Award, Technical Medal of Excellance and the Fleet Ribbon of Merit. All three go to both of you so do post them up in your bios. All of you have put a lot of hard work into this sim the last couple of weeks and for that I am gratified. Colonel Stadi, returns to the ship breifly and chats with Bernard Shaw, in the flight deck as his ship is outfitted with torpedo launchers and gets much needed fuel. Engineering and the Science department works at great lengths to get the navigational deflector online and comes up with a rather ingenious approach that gets things moving (faster) just in the nick of time. The Chief Medical Officer finally makes it into sickbay, after being stuck in the turbolift since the start of the battle, to the relief of Doctor Nancy Price who had been stuck using the EMH to help triage. On the bridge, the crew valiantly tries to keep the ship blown to bits, while the fighter squadron outside attempts a brave manuever to disable the enemy from within the enemies shield perimeter, one fighter is destroyed in the encounter but the Vindicator manages to beam the pilot back aboard. The marine detatchment responds to the attacks by setting themselves up, to hold down the fort, (and this will be needed soon) as a 'test' by the science department ends up disabling the Romulan ship. Ropak is confounded by this as he gave no order for this type of action, and sets the ship to run at full impulse while the other attacking ships bare down on the Vindicator for revenge. c) Quotes Dex turned to the EMC half behind the start up panel he was bypassing "EMC Smitty, if you could give me an engineering report about right here it'd be great." EMC Smith snorted and said "everything is bypassed, we toss'd the book out the window 2 days ago and have not looked back since, but I wont tell Starfleet Engineering if you don't, but the Captain better sign off on our Operation Propulsion Exams wavers, now, cause the next time a inspector sticks his head in here, he will be screaming all the way back to STARBASEONE ENGINEERING. You know how that old guy is very particular about what we do to his WE' BARRIN's!" * * * * * * "What is this EMH doing activated?" Lara shouted above the din. Character information can be found on the website (under CREW -- just click on the Star Trek symbol next to the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a character, then privately mail the person involved, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help. Conversely, if you feel that your character is being portrayed incorrectly by someone please contact them to try to work out an agreeable solution. Just keep in mind when logging to treat other characters the way you'd like them to treat you -- with the respect due to any member of Starfleet who is a specialist in their field.
