Chief Engineer Dexel posted an update as to the ships status which to our encouragement and dismay gave everyone an over view as to just how much more time we really needed in space dock. Hopefully the hull will hold together, and someone will fix the nav deflector so we aren't stuck at 1/4 impulse. Ropak also called Cadet Vance to his ready room and promoted the Cadet to Full Ensign. Congrats Ensign Vance! Colonel Stadi arrives on the scene in his fighter, along with a new squadron that is to set up shop on Vindicator, as the ship gets ready to launch, he is worried about fuel aboard, and lack of weapons as his fighter has phasers only which may not be a big enough punch for when hostilities get worse. Ensign Vance works on the issues surrounding our navigational deflector as it needs to be repaired before it can be brought to full power and used correctly, a quick fix is on the horizon. Commander Tars spends a little time pondering the ponderable, before being interrupted as the Captain calls all hands to departure stations He goes to the bridge to report in person, and Ropak has him take the XO's spot in Aurora's absense, making use of his rank and skill.
