Its great to finally see a few of you crawling out from the shadows, and its been even better to see a few of you popping on IRC to say hello! While Lyra was playing sleeping beauty, our XO was making sure the CO had some R & R only to have her reappear once they find some sort of special anomaly. It is discovered to be a special rift that bore similarities to an Iconian gateway. Arnold is quickly informed by Aurora that the Iconians have been dead for a long time. Informing Arnold that the Vindicator is being toyed with, Aurora takes control of the ship and plunges them into the rift. She expends a great amount of power navigating and keeping the ship safe while travelling through the rift. It soon becomes too much and when the ship is jolted hard, she is thrown from her seat, seemingly dead, leaving Arnold in charge. As they leave the rift, the ship is attacked by unknown vessels and soon they come in contact with the USS Resolution. Discovering that they are almost in the Milky Way once more, the Vindicator traces the Resolutions route back through a wormhole hub and end up at SB 99. Quickly contacting the SB, Vindicator receives permission to dry dock at the station. Never one to waste time, Dex and the CEO from Versailles quickly get started on repairs.
