Strategically positioned near the edge of the Romulan Neutral Zone and as a key stop on the Rose Trade Route, San Frontieres is required to have many auxiliary vehicles and stations at it's disposal. This page gives you an idea of those vessels that are at the disposal of the colonial personnel.

Confederation Starships
CSS Padua This modified nebula class medical frigate is one of the most advanced medical vessels in the fleet. Though the starship is light on weapons and shields, it by far makes up for it's deficiencies by being the most advanced mobile hospital ever built by the Confederation.
   
CSS Midway This modified New Orleans class Marine Carrier Starship is one of the finest starships in the Confederation arsenal. Armed to the teeth with quantum torpedoes, phasers, plasma mine droppers, a cloaking device, and reinforced shields and armor plating, this starship can definitely handle it's own in a scrap and considered one of the most powerful starships in the sector. This vessel is designed to load, transport and deposit large task forces of marines and their equipment into dangerous battlezones and then pull them safely out upon completion of their mission.
   
Confederation Starbases
Starbase Quebec This Mir subclass starbase is the nearest Confederation facility to San Frontieres. Positioned 3 light years away from San Frontieres, this starbase is the next critical link in the neutral zone defense grid. Starbase Quebec is a smaller starbase than the standard Mir class, with a mere 900 decks versus the standard 1600 decks.
   
Research Station Qualor The small Regula class science station is considered the scientific come-along of the sector. Using a minimum of two starships working in sync, this small science station can be dragged into warp and dropped into orbit of any moon, planet or instellar phenomenon deemed worth a closer look.
   
Confederation Satellites
I.R.I.S Also known as the Interstellar Reconnaissance and Intelligence Satellite , IRIS is one of the most powerful sensor and telescopic spy arrays in the sector. The satellite is carefully positioned within Beta Rennar system and is almost always pointed in the direction of the Romulan Neutral Zone. It's purpose is to continually monitor any and all Romulan transmissions, movements, and activity within the neutral zone and up to 5 light years inside Romulan Territory. The location of this facility is unknown to most personnel in the Confederation, save highly placed Confederation Intelligence Officers.
   
Beta Rennar Defense Grid The Beta Rennar Defense Grid is a complex grid of nearly 1200 defensive satellites strategically placed within the Beta Rennar System. These satellites are primarily located between Beta Rena (the Selay homeworld) and Antica. Before the Federation convinced both the Selay and the Antican's to turn them over to the Confederation for use, they used the satellites on each other during the infamous 1200 year war of Beta Rennar.
   
Confederation Auxiliary Craft
Runabouts & Shuttles With more than a dozen runabouts and 100 various kinds of shuttles, ready for use for any personnel needing them, San Frontieres has no shortage auxiliary craft flying all over the planet and all over the system. Runabouts, Personnel Carriers, Hovercars, workbees, dozens of different kinds of shuttles make up a considerable fleet.
   
704th Marine Corp The 704th Fighter Corp is a Marine Fighter Wing that is tasked with the general sector security. Frequently spotted flying along the Rose Trade Lane as a show a force against pirates and smugglers, this Fighter Wing has 4 squadrons of fighter craft of various kinds. The ferocity of the Marine Corpsman and the lethality of the fighter craft itself can quickly and easily bring down even the fiercest of enemy with swiftness.
