The United Confederation of Interstellar Planets is a complex, realistic universe based on the future of Star Trek. Sims in UCIP take place in the year 2402, approximately 25 years after the end of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine®. UCIP sims are primarily centered in the lower half of the Milky Way Galaxy, with sims in Starfleet, the Klingon Defense Force, the Rihannsu Star Republic and NewStar being most common. The InfoPak can give you some detail on the sims, departments, and people that make up UCIP!
	It is the objective of this Information Pack to assist you. It is suggested that you keep this file in your records, as there is much useful information. Many people you will see on UCIP's IRC servers have greater roles. The UCIP Information Pack is updated all the time, sometimes with entire new sections of information.
