These awards are intended to recognize effort or achievement on a single Starfleet simulation. All awards on this page must be authorized by the personnel specified, and department head recommendations must be approved by the Commanding Officer. Recognitions listed in gold indicate "in character" awards, received for actions during the sim. Those in red indicate "out of character" awards for actions outside of the sim.













 

AWARDS   PRESENTED   BY   DEPARTMENT   HEADS
SEMPER FIDELIS CROSS
Awarded for general marine excellence. This can also be awarded for showing deep technical knowledge in marine combat.
INFANTRY CROSS
Awarded for excellence in the field of infantry combat. Can only be awarded for action served.
ARMOUR CREST
Awarded for excellence in the field of armoured combat. Can only be awarded for action served.
FLIGHT CITATION
Awarded for excellence in the field of aviation. Can only be awarded for action served.
 
AWARDS   PRESENTED   BY   COMMANDING   OFFICER

DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS
Awarded to marine pilots who show exceptional skill, valour and dedication whilst engaging in Fighter operations. Not awardable to Navy Pilots.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS
Awarded to marines or attached Naval Personnel for exceptional performance whilst carrying out a mission or operation. This medal is not for a specific action, but rather a summary of the total mission. This cannot be issued for Training Missions.

MARINE CROSS
Awarded for exceptional acts of valour and prowess whilst on a mission or operation. Can only be issued to marines and has no fleet equivalent. This cannot be issued for Training Missions.
QUARTERMAIN MERIT AWARD
Awarded for demonstrating significant understanding of marine procedures and terminology in a series of logs, that help to promote understanding of marine operations to other simmers. This award can be presented to marines and any attached Naval Personnel.
 
AWARDS   PRESENTED   BY   SUBFLEET   COMMANDER

DISTINGUISED SERVICE ORDER
Awarded to marines or attached Naval Personnel for actions above and beyond the call of duty whilst on an active mission or operation, whilst showing OOC leadership and character development. This medal is not for any specific action, but rather a summary of the total mission. This cannot be issued for training missions.

LEGION OF HONOR
Awarded to Marine leaders who have successfully commanded a mission in which their Marine Unit completed all objectives successfully. This medal can be awarded for training or operational deployments. It can also be awarded to Marines for exceptional acts of leadership despite not holding an official command position. Only Marines (enlisted or officer) are eligible for this decoration.

DALY CITATION
Awarded to any Enlisted person who has distinguished him/herself in the field of marine operations, and has upheld the best traditions of the service. Awarded not more than once a year, to the best enlisted person in Starfleet, by the subfleet Co of the fleet the nominee is elected from, on advice from the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
AVALON RIBBON FOR SERVICE
Named after the fourth Commandant of the Corps, this award is issued to any marine who performs a service for the Marine Corps as a whole, and by so doing, benefits the Corps as a result.
 
AWARDS   PRESENTED   BY   STARFLEET   COMMANDER
SHARPE AWARD FOR SERVICE
Named after the Seventh Commandant of the Corps, this award is issued to any marine who has served the Marine Corps in a staff position for a period of 6 months.

JENNIFER COLE CROSS FOR SERVICE
Named after the second Commandant of the Corps, this award is issued to any marine who has served the Marine Corps in a staff position for a period of 12 months.

COMMANDANT'S CREST OF VALOUR
Awarded to any marine who goes above and beyond the call of duty in any operational deployment that involves said marine disregarding his own safety to uphold the sanctity of his unit and the corps.
WOLF MEDAL FOR ACHIEVEMENT
Named after the third head of marine special projects, this decoration is issued to any marine who, through hard work and dedication, achieves something that benefits the corps as a whole. An example of this would be the re-working of the corps website or the corps manual for the academy.

CORPS CROSS
Awarded to any marine officer who has shown the qualities, skills, compassion, loyalty and dedication to duty that has become expected of the Marine Corps. Due to the prestige that this award holds, it is not awarded more than once a year by the Commandant of the Marine Corps, on advice of the Starfleet Commander.
