SERVICE RECOGNITION AWARDS
Service awards are awarded for each active 6 month period of an officer's OOC career. Years in
military combat (as declared by the Senate) are noted in 'plus' status. These appear as a row of
small rectangular pips on the right hand collar of the uniform. They are formed into two rows --
the top row is for combat, the bottom for non-combat. A '6 month' pip is small and almost square,
a One year pip is a larger rectangular pip.

STELAM'AFVU SAGOHM
The 'Black Star' Award is an OOC award to an officer for OOC duty which aided the SIMulation or the
greater division. Above average logging done over a specific period of time decided by the CO.

TENURED SOLDIER
A 'Vh' in gold or brass or silver, can be added to any of the basic CO awards. This is issued
to an officer who served at the Rank of 'Vriah`Erien' or 'Erien' in the Gai`Shian, for a period
of at least 3 months. This marks them as 'tenured' as a soldier, of similar status to Arrain
ranked officers. Gold is for Galae duty, brass for Gai`Shian duty, and silver for duty served
in the Tal`Diann.

RIGHT OF MEMORY
The unit's, ship's, or starbase's name ribbon and icon is added to the
Regiment / Fleet / Legion's standard or, if they have none, to their HQ shrine.
As this depends on what the name and icon for the unit look like, it has
no official graphical representation.

KHELLREA V'MNHEI'SAHE SAGOHM
The 'Honor Guard' award is a rope worn around the shoulder by a distinguished
officer who has shown a high level of dedication, prowes, and integrity to
their Regiment / Fleet / Legion. The rope often also bears the branch icon.
Depending on the R/F/L, it may also designate the officer as Colour
Guard/Standard bearer.

WREATH OF TEARS
Awarded to an officer who was wounded in duty. Normally fashioned from copper,
but fashioned from silver if the wound was severe enough to remove them from
active duty.

SHIANEV'LHOHNU CH'FVAENNH
The 'Silver Spear of Battle' is a recognition granted to a Galae ship or Marine unit
for its valor in combat and/or Field Operations.

THE MARK OF TIERCELLUS
A higher OOC award than the Black Star Award, to an officer for OOC duty which aided the
Fleet or the greater Division. Above average logging involving a Fleet plot, done over a
specific period of time decided by the Fleet CO.

RENAIVERMHH SAGOMH
The 'Romulan Cross' is issued by the Division Commander or Fleet Commander to a non-Rihannsu
for their IC/OOC activity which greatly assisted the division.

TEARS OF THE DECLARED
Awarded to the house of an officer whose life was lost in the service of the Empire.
An extremely rare medal, only given to the most highly regarded of the Empire.

RIGHT OF ICON
Lesser award, which may be awarded to non-military (clans and houses) personnel
for military recognition by the Senate. This is often a right of a house to
become a Clan, and bear their mark on their uniforms.

RIGHT OF STANDARD
Awarded annualy to a unit of any size by the Rihannsu Senate for their duty
in the field. that unit is now allowed to bear their own personalized standard
and use icons on their uniforms, ship(s), and weapons.

ORDER OF TELLUS
Awarded to a unit of any size, which has already been issued a 'Right of Standard',
by the Senate for their duty in the field. This is most often represented by adding
a small seal to the unit's standard.

BLADE OF THE DECLARED
Sword inscribed with the individual's name, and the name of their unit, and is
issued by the Senate for extreme service in the line of duty. When the recipient
dies, they may choose to have the blade kept in their family shrine, or the blade
may be placed on the wall of memory, in the ch`Rihan Senatoral complex. If they so
choose, their remains may be interned along with the rest of the Declared's heroes,
in the Imperial cemetary near the Senate complex.

ORDER OF S'TASK
The Highest OOC Award within the RSR. Awarded for OOC Duties which have aided the
Division. Above average logging affecting the Division and beyond, done over a significant
period of time decided by the Division CO.

MEMORY OF THE DECLARED
The individual's name is enscribed much as a unit marker, and added to the home
standard which hangs in the ch`Rihan Senate complex. This IC is awarded by the
RSR military CinC and OOC by the UCIP CinC. To date, only S`Task, Tellus, Jeiai,
and Jo`rek's names have been issued this honor (all figures in Romulan history).
