Space is not the final frontier - the final frontier is the human soul. Space is merely the arena in which we shall meet the challenge.

I am Rear Admiral Kerry Malone, Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Intrepid NCC-3875-D. The U.S.S. Intrepid, a Sovereign Class Starship, is a proud member of UCIP's Beta Fleet.

Our remit is to patrol the Beta Quadrant, namely, the Federation border along the Klingon and Romulan Empires.

As one of Beta Fleet's front-line starships, we see more than our fair share of missions, be they dangerous, combat orientated, exploratory, policing, diplomatic or humanitarian, it is more than likely that you'll see the U.S.S. Intrepid in attendance.

I am aided in my command by Captain Elizabeth Jast-Clark, together, with our valliant crew, we form the front line for Beta Fleet and the Federation.
