After having been aboard the Gemini for some time now I have learned how the crew interacts with each other and am slowly beginning to create friendships with the rest of my crewmates. My actions in our last encounter helped show the Captain that I am able to think quickly on my feet and give working suggestions to help save the ship and its crew.

Unfortunately this log comes at a time when most of the crew is either sick or not on duty. Just recently I was unlucky enough to be on the Bridge and be responsible for Engineering, Tactical, Science, and several other posts while the rest of the crew was getting back on its feet. Our newest mission to discover what has happened to the U.S.S. Sandford has left me with little time to upgrade our sensor resolution and realign the deflector dish to increase our efficiency.

However I have been able to tie-in the aft sensors to the main system and increase resolution by thirteen per cent, hopefully this will be enough of an edge to solve the mystery of the missing ship. I have also been working on making the deflector dish a super senor capable of homing in on the missing ships’ locator beacon, if it is still active.

Also I am preparing to ask the captain for resources to build a new and improved version of our runabouts. Basically they will be a superior model to our current version and it will replace three of our standard runabouts in the process. It has a full medical/science facility as well as fighting capabilities and an extensive computer core. The ship is basically a smaller version of the Gemini, but it has special adaptations that will allow it to, forgive the play on words, “go where no one has gone before.”

Now that all of our repairs and upgrades are complete I must head to Engineering and prepare the ship for departure.

Log Continued: 1230 Hours

We have discovered the U.S.S. Sandford and unfortunately it looks as though the vessel has been attacked and suffered extensive damage from a warp core breach. A nacelle from the ship was blasted off and we have found the main hull located on the planet below. There is a single survivor and I have been called to the transporter room and assigned to the away team. Hopefully we can find the answers to our problems down there.
