U.S.S. Crazy Horse confirmed "missing in the line of duty"
FEDERATION NEWS NETWORK SD 240606.23 03:02 GMT
STARBASE 692, Milky Way Galaxy – In a shocking turn of events that threatens the maintenance of peace and security in the Triangulum Galaxy, the United Federation of Planet's Alpha Fleet Command has confirmed that the U.S.S. Crazy Horse is missing in the line of duty.
Sources within Starfleet Command report that the vessel was traveling through the Mer'lian system when an artificially-induced supernova explosion occurred. Starships responding to frantic distress calls from the third planet (prior to the explosion inhabited by an estimated seven billion citizens of a warp-capable civilization), have reported the finding of hull debris identified as originating from the Crazy Horse.
