 The United Confederation Fleet division plays an important element of the universe that we are all a part of from an in character point of view. However, since the UCF was established a number of years ago, very little has been done to unify the background story and ongoing operation of that division with a clear idea of how they really fit into our SIMming universe.
The UCIP Universe currently is 27 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis, it is 12 years after the establishment of an interstellar body, much like Earth's current UN, designed to bring peace and cooperation to the galaxy. The founding members of UCIP included the three main powers, the Federation, the Romulan Star Empire and the Klingon Empire.
However, due to ongoing administrative issues within the group, much of the development of this universe from the points of view of the different divisions has gone unrecorded and now, as we come closer together in cooperation, it has become important to start to define those missing elements. One of the first phases of this will be to fill in the blanks when it comes to UCF, UCIP's military element and finally create a common basis for our two divisions to work together from.
As time goes on, this project and projects like it will enable us to fill in gaps that exists in the resources we provide to new and existing members alike to help you work with others within our in character universe. The work is already starting on a new timeline within Memory Delta, take a look and take a journey into our past starting in 2374.
