The Simming League, a community organisation that has been running for a number of years now with an aim of supporting the SIMming community is currently looking for nominations for its 2005 prizes. Each year the league highlights the work of SIM groups around the community through the use of prizes, competitions and a monthly news magazine and this is a great way for groups to get publicised to the wider community. Whilst UCIP predates the league and the vast majority of the groups it works with, it has never been entered or nominated with the league but maybe 2006 is the year we can change this? Right now the prizes are ongoing and there are various categories, including literature, technology, management, service and peace (a kind of SIMming styled nobel prize).
