President Frankie announced his resignation today at the conclusion of the Town Hall meeting in #UCIP.

Frankie has served on the UCIP Staff for more than four years, with two of those as Commander-in-Chief and subsequently President.

Frankie said, “I have chosen to stand down early, as appose to the logical choice of
remaining until the next election and simply not standing – for many
reasons. I feel that I am no longer bringing anything useful to the office
of President, and have started to impede upon my colleagues efforts to
modernise UCIP beyond what I started.”

Vice President Suzanna Blokpoel, in accordance with UCIP Bylaws, assumed the role of President and will serve out Frankie’s term until the June elections.

Suzanna announced that Jazza will act as her Vice President, pending approval by the Senior Staff.

Immediately prior to his resignation, Frankie promoted Commodore Donald Davis, UCIP Services Director, to Rear Admiral, citing his exceptional service to all of UCIP.
