Premise
Over the course of five months, four freighters have disappeared in the Antigonis system while en route to a colony in the neighboring Bygar system. These freighters carried with them large supplies of antimatter to run the colony's power systems and other infrastructures.
The USS Quasar, of the SSF First Taskforce, was sent one week ago to investigate the disappearances of these freighters and their cargo, and it too has come up missing. It's last report was a brief communication from Captain Senri:
"My crew and I have been attacked by an unknown force. We are plotting a pursuit course. I believe whomever this enemy is, that they have some connection with the disappearance of these freighters. I will report back in one standard day with our progress."
The second communication never arrived. As such, 1st Taskforce Command has assigned the situation into the hands of the USS Chimera, the 1st Taskforce flagship.
