Biography:
Natalia was born in Moscow, Earth to Piotr Trzetrzelewska and Zanira Bassat. From an early age Natalia showed an interest in history, especially military history related to events leading up to the formation of the Federation and the major conflicts that helped to form the galactic political sphere of the past several centuries. She was fond of playing strategic simulations with her brother, which her parents thought was unusual for a girl.
Ever since she first learned about Starfleet Academy, she made up her mind that she wanted to be a Starfleet officer. Upon graduated of secondary education, she applied to Starfleet Academy and passed her first entrance exam. Natalia entered Command School and specialised in strategic operations. Following her graduation, she was assigned as Ensign to Starbase 234 near the Klingon border as an assistant operations officer. Shortly following her promotion to Lieutenant JG, she was recruited by the SSF. She was assigned to Bragg following her training and spent several months as an assistant to the SSF command staff.
When the newly designed Chimera class was in production, Natalia was assigned to the project. Following its completion and the commissioning of the new ship, she was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned as strategic operations officer. Shortly afterwards she was promoted to Officer of the Watch and to Lieutenant Commander.
Medical Information:
Halanans are a telepathic species, and as a result Natalia inherited some of the ability, however it is limited to touch sensitivity. Although Halanans are also known to have limited psychoprojective abilities, Natalia appears not to have inherited these abilities from her mother. Physiologically, she has an enlarged metacortex and an inherited sensitivity to anesthetics and mood altering medication.
Other Notes:
Natalia is a friendly person with a somewhat witty sense of humour. She has a keen interest in battle strategy and logistics and is blessed with an eery calmness during difficult situations. She has a natural affinity for learning languages and enjoys doing so as a hobby; she can speak several languages fluently without the need for a Universal Translator, something which has come in handy on many occasions. Natalia also enjoys playing kadis-kot and exploring various locations on the holodeck as well as playing holodeck strategy games.
