On SD240706, the USS Vindicator attempted to casually observe the native population of a planet in a nebula near the Draken system. The away team was taken prisoner by the military of the Callenians and the away team was rescued by a second away team. The Vindicator returned to SB 22 for repairs.
On SD240706, while escorting the Titanic, the USS Eclipse was hit by a
subspace surge. causing the Titanic, to be lodged into the side of the
Eclipse. A couple of moments later the Eclipse was hit by the same surge
once more, this time causing the Titanic to be dislodged. Both ships were
then caught by a planet's gravitational pull and started to enter the
atmosphere. The USS Eclipse did launch an SOS beacon before being pulled
into the atmophere of the planet.

On SD240706, the USS Intrepid is given orders to investigate mystery 21st century radio signals originating from a system called Aestura, within the Qualor sector
On SD240706, the USS Intrepid arrives at Starbase 22 and docks for repairs. While undergoing repairs, the ship is sabotauged, and the Executive Officer kidnapped. Shortly afterwards, a demand is made by Targus Farquaad for the delivery of tricobalt torpedoes if the Intrepid wants their Executive Officer back unharmed.
On SD240706, Commodore Malone informs Commodore Hawke that the entire Fleet based out of Starbase 22 may be compromised by the spread of a shattered crystal program being used by the Vanguard to sabotauge Federation starships.
On SD240706, at the Starfleet Intelligence HQ, Brigadier General Max Bourne comes across some worrying news that reports the disappearance of an Intel vessel called the USS Rivers. The classified ship was assigned to a research mission bent on providin g an anti-agent to a Romulan weaponised-Necrosis (flesh eating virus) developed some five years earlier. General Bourne orders in an SFI S&R ship with a heavy-handed SSF support ship; the USS Dark Horizon. Section 31 locates this information and acts on an interest it's already focused upon. It seems they have known of a mole in Starfleet Special Forces for some time and specifically one on the USS Dark Horizon. Using the SFI-located intel they assign the Firehawk Cell to 'lead' the Dark Horizon on the classified mission whilst simultaneously routing out the spy.
