On SD 240701.xx, the USS Cerberus departs for the Alphosa Sector to make an initial survey of the condition of the returned colonies. The USS Shark and USS Minsk cross the Romulan border to rescue a botched recon mission. In the process, 22 prisoners are rescued from an illegal Romulan detention center. The decision is made to attempt to repatriate the colonies seized by the Romulans in the 2401 war, but the mathematics suggest that it would be an impossible operation with available resources. A diplomatic solution is the favoured outcome.
On SD 240701.xx, the USS Intrepid leads Taskforce 944 out of Starbase 22, to engage the Krivaldi at the Yamembi Anchorage. The USS Eclipse, under the command of Major Innovidil, realising that the Intrepid is leading the TF into a slaughter, transmits critical information to the flagship, then engages the Krivaldi.
On SD 240701.xx, the crew of the USS Eclipse is defeated after a valliant stand and Krivaldi boarders are detected.
On SD 240701.xx, Taskforce Phoenix is delayed in reaching the Eclipse by five Krivaldi craft using a subspace weapon that disrupts subspace causing warp fields to collapse in its radius. The Intrepid leads several ships to destroy the Krivaldi.
On SD 240701.xx, The Taskforce engages the Krivaldi, and takes heavy losses in the opening salvo, including the Intrepid which takes a massive pounding and is forced to retreat.
On SD 240701.xx, Commodore Malone contacts Starfleet Command, and speaks to Starfleet Commander Admiral Williams, and informs him of the dire situation. Williams promises action, and asks Malone if he wants to pull back, Malone refuses to give an inch.
On SD 240701.xx, The Yamembi Anchorage mysteriously explodes.
On SD 240701.xx, Commodore Malone re-engages the Krivaldi with his patched starship and attempts to get the Krivaldi General to surrender. When he declines to do so, Kerry brings in his reinforcements, and the tables turn.
On SD 240701.xx, Lieutenant Commander Anderson's crippled USS Hull launches one last ditch attempt to deal the Krivaldi a blow, and flies his devastated Defiant class smack bang into the Krivaldi warship, himself only being beamed out at the very last second by the Intrepid. LtCmdr Anderson dies of 3rd degree plasma burns.
On SD 240701.xx, In a joint effort with Major Innovidil on her caputred Krivaldi Dreadnaught and Commodore Malone on Intrepid, they destroy the Krivaldi flagship and capture the Krivaldi General. Kerry releases Innovidil from the taskforce, and instructs her to take her prize back to Starbase 22.
On SD 240701.xx, Commodore Malone informs Starfleet Commander Williams that the Krivaldi have been defeated at Yamembi, and that the area is secure. Admiral Williams presents Kerry with the Tobruk Medal of Honour for his valliant stand at Yamembi, and all ships with the Fleet Unit Citation.
On SD 240701.xx, Commodore Malone releases the CSS Endeavour from the Taskforce, awarding Captain Dunross with the Silver Star for Valour.
On SD 240701.xx, Kerry Malone is introduced to his new Fleet Commander, after arriving back at Starbase 22 for repairs, and he informs her of their situation, and VAdm. Kanryth gives the Intrepid 5 days R&R before heading off to the newly recovered Klingon territory.
