Captain Malone protests excorting such an important person, stating that the new Intrepid D still has bugs to work out, and is not ready should anything untoward happen.

SD240604.xx the Chief Engineer on the Intrepid discovers problems in the Intrepid's computer systems, and begins a dialysis of all the programs. The already vulnerable Intrepid is made even more vulnerable by this.

SD 240604.xx the USS Cerberus and USS Resolution arrive at Starbase 99, where she is christened as the new Versailles. Commander Osric Tia assumes command.

On SD240604.xx a memorial service for Captain Thorpe is held aboard Starbase 22. Commander Osric Tia is appointed as permanent Commanding Officer, with Lieutenant Commander Scott Thomas appointed as Executive Officer. Lieutenant Commander Neel Maklaud is reassigned as Commanding Officer of the USS Resolution. The Versailles crew are ordered to report to the new Starbase 99 Versailles, a new Wolf class starbase located in orbit of the YaDalla Colony in the Oraken System.
