On SD240509.xx the USS Intrepid was sent to discover the fate of the Bozeman, a ship that had been missing for a few days. The Bozeman was discovered on a planet inside a spatial rift. The crew of the Bozeman each had a spider-like parasite attached to them. They were rescued from the ship by the crew of the Intrepid, but the Bozeman could not be repaired before the rift closed. The crew, with parasites, were later transferred to the medical facilities at Regulus.
