Biography
Nathan Acheson was born in 2351 aboard the USS Gandhi to Tyler Acheson and Mary Cooper. His mother was a Starfleet Medical officer and his father was a civillian engineering specialist serving on the Gandhi. He applied to Starfleet Academy in 2368 and began his studies in 2369. Upon graduating in the top 15% of his class, he was assigned as a security officer on the USS Vienna.
Since his initial posting, he moved his way up the ranks in Starfleet security, until passing the command test in 2401 and being given his first command role, as an executive officer of Starbase 22. He remained at Starbase 22 where he was offered the position of Deputy Fleet Commander by Commodore Hawke in 2407.
He accepted Commodore Hawke's offer and served as Deputy Fleet Commander for Starfleet's Second Fleet. Commodore Hawke resigned a few months thereafter and Acheson nervously accepted the position, with a concombiant promotion to the rank of Commodore, as Hawke's last official act.
Nathan Acheson would be described as a dedicated and proficient Starfleet officer, although he has a tendency to be harsh and callous with his subordinates. He takes a great deal of pride in his fleet and works tirelessly to ensure its smooth operation. He is particularly fond of Starbase 22, as he spent much of his career at that location.
