Planetary Information

Calenia is a Class M planet in a nebula outside the Drake system. In 2407, the USS Vindicator, under the command of Capt. Thompson, discovered a planet there. The ecology of the planet supports a grayish vegetation with few forested areas and many small lakes.

Callenian

The Callenian people are similar to Cardassians in appearance, with grayish skin and body ridges on their shoulders. They are technologically equivalent to 20th century earth, but they have sophisticated orbital weapons systems and small ships designed to repulse invading species.
The Callenian religious order teaches that the callenian people are unique in the galaxy. The general population fosters this view and the government carefully conceals all alien encounters through an intense control of the major information sources. They do this out of concern of the chaos that the exposure to extraterrestrial life might bring to the society.
