Biography:

Serving through two Romulan Federation wars he was able to distinguish himself as a masterful tactician. His ability to quickly analyze situations and create resolutions allowed him to excel in the Galae ranks. Serving on the IRW Mogai’tagor as tactical officer he was present in the battle in which Rihannsu forces captured the System of Tomika and star base 220.

During the last Romulan/Federation war he continued to distinguish himself at the Executive Officer spot of the SRR Terha`eihss… present during many Galae victories… he was also present during the Battle of Yadalla where federation forces were successful in driving back the Romulan front… soon after which a treaty was signed and a new neutral zone was put in place.

After continuing service on the SRR Terha`eihss for a few more years he returned to ch’Havran to attend the burial of his father, a former Riov who was seriously injured in the last major war with the Federation… after the burial he was contacted by Riov tr’Katrin and informed that he would be assigned to the Aylhr as her commanding officer… he accepted the new post, knowing that the Aylhr was one of the most storied vessels in the entire Galae.

Born in the small ch’Havran city of Latasalaem he was almost completely raised by his mother… his father being a very respected officer in the Romulan Galae only came home every few months. While his father was not around much, Argelian still admired him for his father had great Mnhei'sahe… One of the driving forces in Argelian’s life is that he strives to be like his father…. A very decorated Riov in the Galae.

Argelian was taught by his uncle and a family servant the trade of hunting, it is one of the enjoyable things he would do with his cousins on ch’Havran… He was very skillful in the art of hunting and was considered the best hunter in the family. One day his father returned and took Argelian on the hunt for the Lamatya… after two nights of tracking Argelian discovered the animal and was able to spear the Lamatya single handed to the impressed grin of his father… besides hunting Argelian enjoyed, with the other children the hiking trails that covered the beautiful ch’havran landscape…. Trees and flowers were in abundance; the air was always clean and pure… he would always have a wonderful time just sleeping in the soft grass around his home and staring into the purple sky for hours…

Argelian’s mother wished for him to be well educated, and stressed his education… he excelled in this area also. His uncle would sometimes bring him on trips to ch’Rihan where he would sit quietly and watch senate proceedings with interest… He had found the politics of the Empire interesting… this interest was compounded by his love for the history of the Empire… the military superiority and victories for which many were famed… He was a true patriot and loved the rich history of his people.

When Argelian was of age, he moved to ch’Rihan where he attended the Phi’lasasam [Military Academy] where he also excelled… his great hunting ability allowed him take on the martial art techniques with ease and even master them. His ability to fight with a sword was amazing, his speed and strength was almost unheard of. His father became very proud of his progress and was very pleased when Argelian finished his training and graduated to his position on the IRW Mogai’tagor…

Argelian only stunned his commanders with his innate abilities of tactics and war… He only distinguished himself with each battle and victory… During the revolution in which the republic was instated he became somewhat milder in his views, not as conservative and more open then the old. During the second war with the federation he was injured when the SRR Terha’eihss was hit by a federation torpedo at the battle of Yadalla… Yadalla proved to be a costly engagement for his house as they lost several members that day… his father was severely injured during the battle… left to spend his days on ch’Havran ridden to a bed to await his death. He still has some hatred towards the Federation for what they did to his father… Finally after several years of being ill his father passed… Returning to ch’Havran to attend his father’s burial Argelian was given the open and highly respected post as Leih of the Aylhr… when he accepted he knew he was accepting a grave new responsibility… but he also knew this would have made his father even prouder.

After receiving command of the Aylhr Arrain Argelian tr'Ahaefvthe proved himself to be an effective Commanding officer and quickly moved up the ranks within the Romulan navy.  His leadership role during the Jurai war earned him great respect within the Star Navy and several accolades.  Ael'Riov tr'Ahaefvthe played a major role in defeating the vang'radam Praetor tr'Mandak, however for his role in the affair he would be exiled to the Eastern Republic for several years as a precautionary measure.    

On SD240406.03 Argelian became Argelian i'Ahaefvthe tr'Verelan after marrying his bond mate S'anra t'Verelan in a beautiful ceremony on ch'Havran. 

Medical History:

Argelian has a wound on his thigh he received when battling a Klingon hand to hand… he was stabbed but still managed to kill the Klingon with his hands. Besides that the old wounds of war have faded, the only evidence of his injury at Yadalla is a small scar on his chin.  Argelian also becomes nauseated during atmospheric entering, or very rough turbulence.

After the Jurai war Argelian wears a patch on his left eye covering a scar from when the viewscreen of the Aylhr exploded in one of the clashes.  Argelian also has several scars from the Mandak campaigns in the most recent civil conflict in which the Romulan Star Empire was restored.
