I think people are beginning to find their niche, and the sim is moving along at the rate I expect and am happy with. So far I have enjoyed reading everyone’s logs; even if a few make me cringe! But that’s a good thing ;) Really what I’ve decided now is to step back, and offer you a basic situation, giving you a chance to show how creative you can be. If anything specific happens or needs to be done you’ll see them in a Mission Log or a Plot Log. Also I guess I’ll explain the difference between the two. Mission logs will involve crewmembers and advance the plot along with the Aylhr’s mission or the situation/change in goals. Plot Logs will involve NPC’s mainly and only advance the background story. Aside from that I noticed a few people didn’t log this week, if you get busy that’s fine, but please inform me. Especially if you live next door *stare.* It’s not hard to type a few sentences “sorry can’t log busy.” Will work :P Khre’Riov Argelian tr’Verelan ____________________________________________________ / ii. Plot Summary /ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ The Aylhr arrived in orbit of ch’Lekab to discover a few vessels trying to flee the quarantine planet. After attempts to communicate fail, Argelian orders t’Rehu to destroy them. Once the transports are dispatches Argelian also orders that the planetary spaceport be destroyed to prevent anymore escape attempts. Contacting the planet they learn that the former overseer tr’Nadlis had become infected and that a new overseer had been appointed in their place. Tr’Serin, the new settlement leader complains to tr’Verelan about the destruction of their space port, but Argelian tells him that if he was concerned about it he would have prevented ships from breaking quarantine. The Khre’Riov also informs him teams from Aylhr will be beaming down to assess the situation. Meanwhile Sarahl t’Rok returned to the Galae, find that her hunger for service needed to be quelled. Accepting the posting on the Aylhr she travels to ch’Lekab on the RIS Mogai’vnau and reports to the Khre’Riov becoming the Aylhr’s new Daise’Ifvhelhr. Riov t’Rehu was charged with organizing the away teams and separated them into three groups. T’Rehu and tr’Rok would go to the government building and monitor the new overseer, t’Kazanka would be charged with collecting air and water samples, while t’Khellian would head investigating the actual disease at a local hospital escorted by D’Nal tr’Solius and contingent of Gai’Shian from Aylhr. On the planet they discover a chaotic scene; smoke billowed from several locations clouding the city in a veil of sulfur, the ill are piled on sidewalks and in courtyards where they are burned to prevent further infection. The hospital is in chaos and at its limit with people, D’Nal forces people away from the hospital to keep it from collapsing into Chaos, while t’Khellian busies herself with trying to find the hospital administrator. On the Aylhr things progress slowly, Argelian contacts his fleet command and informs them that he will be requisitioning 10,000 Gai’Shian soldiers to secure ch’Lekab. He sends Maec tr'Khnialmnae down to the planet to find a staging point for the Gai’Shian. Argelian was intent to bring stability to the planet, and find out where the disease came from. ____________________________________________________ / iii. "I Maiell tr'Ruanek charge thee Aidoann t`Sarell, with the death of my family, and treason to the Empire by using it as vengeance against one man." He looked at his hand, the small device blinked more rapidly as the hover car sped away. "And for this I sentence you to death." The indicator light went from rapid blinking to steady as the hover car moved out of the proximity devices range. With a thunderous clap the car exploded and crashed into a retaining wall. - Note: Do not piss him off – Maiell tr’Ruanek Maec sense the uneasiness of the Leih in regards to his dress. He steeled his jaw from the stare he knew was upon him and did not lift his head, until he was dismissed. As much he serve upon this ship as a member of this crew, he was still and always a Ranger. Maec felt that it was his duty to remind this young crew of the blood that has been spilt for their freedom and way of life. - Duty, the Rei’Krannsu – Maec tr'Khnialmnae Feeling a strong urge to express how useless the nurse was Saeihr bit her tounge. Calming herself before speaking again Saeihr looked around, "And your administrator, where may I find him when I am done?" The nurse turned and looked towards the lift, "His office is on the fifth floor if he is still alive." Saeihr nodded with a slight glare, "You may return to what you were doing." The nurse nodded and disappeared behind Saeihr. Shaking her head as the nurse left Saeihr made a mental note to make sure that her own medical staff was far from useless. - Useless people are always bad – Saeihr t’Khellian "Final warning, disperse and return to your homes or we will open fire!" yelled D'Nal as loud as he could. When he could see the mob had no intentions of stopping he yelled the words he had hoped he wouldn't have too, "Open fire!" Streaks of disruptor fire left the medical center from various floors and windows as well as from the soldiers behind the courtyard wall; they were aimed indiscriminately. D'Nal lifted the stock of the rifle to his shoulder and started firing. He was forced to see the horrible carnage he was inflicting due to the close range of his targets. It would be something he was never going to forget. It was all over in a grand total of twenty seconds; the mob stricken with panic melted away under the accurate barrage of fire and began to flee back into the streets screaming in terror as they went. The short skirmish had killed at least fifty in the mob including children. The grassy area that occupied the space between the courtyard and the perimeter fence was now littered with the dead, even if any of them had survived their wounds they would have been trampled to death by the others fleeing the slaughter.
