I know many of you are new to Romulan simming, which is good since you can add your own mark to what makes a Romulan. Next thing I’d like to address is my goals for the sim this month. Basically I want to develop some cohesion between the crew, and I believe this plot will do so perfectly. Ideally I would like to see 40-50 logs this month (hopefully I won’t make of 3/4ths of the logging :P), which would mean the sim is healthy and everyone participating is enjoying it. Overall I’d just like to see some activity on a Romulan sim again lol. Since so many of you are new to simming a Romulan, you can find a detailed resource on them here:http://www.ucip.org/rse/info/info.html feel free to browse it at your leisure. To be quite honest there is not a “true” way of playing a Romulan. Many grow up in different backgrounds and behave differently, like any complex culture would. So don’t worry if you don’t feel that your post is “romulan,” over time you’ll find your characters’ niche. The main thing to know is what motivates them to do what they do. Whether it be family honor, or revenge, or love, once you have their raison d’etre it’ll be much easier for you to write them. Upon his return to ch’Rihan tr’Verelan requisitioned it before visiting his ill wife on ch’Havran. When he returned from his visit tr’Verelan would discover the lead Aylhr technician tr’Jasok trying to delay the Aylhr’s departure by days to force the Khre’Riov to be present during tax discussions. Enraged tr’Verelan upped the departure date and ordered all crew recalled. Ael t’Kanzaka had planned on studying some algae in a muddy lake, however with word of the quick departure she was forced head to Aylhr while still filthy from her research! Dirtying the Aylhr and stealing uniform she would be scolded and told to requisition new uniforms. Sella Donnas found herself returning to her old post as political officer, the Krein [highest rank] of the Tal’Shiar informed her of tr’Verelan’s return to command and watch over her old charge again. D’Nal tr’Solius spent time with his family celebrating his appointment to Aylhr as Gai’Shian company commander. He also considered his future, seeking guidance from his mother he finally decided he would settle down with his bond mate Sindari once his assignment on Aylhr found conclusion. Arrain Khiy tr’Zorek would also arrive arrive on the Aylhr, enjoying the view from orbit while Riov tr’Rehu found herself leaving an old command to become the Aylhr’s RS. ____________________________________________________ / iii.
