History Links: Aylhr Historical Plot Archive Recent History of the RIS Aylhr "Return to Belian Secondus" Plot
Receiving
a new compliment of crew and a new Leih the Aylhr was to return to Belian
Secondus where they would dock with Kaohht Anahos.
Once Arrain tr’Ahaefvthe and the new crewmembers were onboard the
Aylhr set off.
During
the trip there were some minor issues, which the OPS detected, and some
minor turbulence, it was discovered that the cause of the turbulence was
the heavily polluted area of Romulan space.
The minor technical issues were handled by engineering and the
aylhr continued on her way at Transwarp Domain 3.
Once
the Aylhr arrived at Kaohht Anahos, the Romulan station which orbits
Belian Secondus. Argelian
tr’Ahaefvthe boarded the station and met with 3rd Wing
commander Riov tr’Katrin… Argelian
was informed about a serious issue in which illegal contraband was being
transported across the neutral zone.
tr’Katrin gave Argelian his first assignment, which was to patrol
the section of the neutral zone where the high illegal trafficking was
occurring also to root out the cause and find those involved.
Once Argelian returned he had the crew join together for a large social gathering where a large meal was served. This provided a chance for the crew to mingle and get to know each other on a more personal level before the Aylhr set out. During the meal Arrain tr’Ahaefvthe promoted the Daise’Paectum, t’Sorjal to the rank of erie’Arrain, he also expressed the new assignment to the crew… once the dinner was over they all had a chance to rest. Soon after the aylhr set out heading to the neutral zone… "Logical Addiction" Plot
The SRR Aylhr was ordered by Sei'Ael commander Riov tr'Katrin to investigate unconfirmed reports of smuggling along the Romulan/Federation Border. Setting up a search pattern the Aylhr chose two remote systems near the federation border, going through one of the systems she discovered a Tal'Shiar Bomber and Cargo Transport Interlocked.
It appeared that the Cargo Transport had Rammed the Bomber... as the Aylhr investigated the situation she beamed over a team to the planet where it was discovered that a small skirmish between smugglers and a small Tal'Shiar unit had taken place. All of the smugglers had been killed except for a Ferengi who had been hiding in a small compound. Only 1 Tal'Shiar agent, tr'Ulbhi, survived. tr'Ulbhi was severely injured and had lost his arm in the skirmish, he was immediately beamed back to the Aylhr.
Investigating the situation further the Chief Security Officer, Sienae, discovered a create containing a silver container... which in turn contained some type of chemical. Sending the chief science officer back to the aylhr the CO wanted to know the contents of the chemicals... he had a small suspicion that they were mindbang [powerful romulan drug].
Meanwhile, Engineering teams had been scurrying the wreckage of the Tal'Shiar bomber and Cargo Transport trying to retrieve the inform cores from both vessels. The core from the transport was successfully recovered but on the Tal'Shiar bomber there was an 'accident' of grave proportions. An unexploded old Federation style Photon Torpedo exploded destroying the bomber and sent the Transport spinning into space.
The Daise'Gonaiih Areinnye ordered the Bridge crew to intercept the transport and rescue the two lone engineering survivors... the Chief Engineer t'Sorjal was seriously injured... she was brought to the Aylhr medical bay in a deep coma. At that time Argelian returned to the ship... he had the Ferengi Interrogated by erie'Arrain Donnas. The information the Ferengi provided was decent... but the information the Assistant Engineer gathered from the Transport information core was more vital.
Discovering that an Orion was also involved, the aylhr headed to Alpha Eridani where the Transport Captain was supposed to meet the Orion. When the aylhr arrived in Alpha Eridani she quickly discovered the location of the Orion and beamed a team of Dheno over to apprehend him.
After interrogation of the Orion it was discovered that he had been slated to deliver the mindbang to a Vulcan. When the identity of the Vulcan was discovered, they learned that he had been a former spy for the Federation. The Leih of the Aylhr agreed to allow the Orion to finish his delivery... So that the Vulcan would suffer "Poetic Justice" by living with an addiction he picked up while spying for the Federation. "Expedition Through The Stars" Plot
The SRR - Aylhr was originally sent to the Padek system to group with a task force that would hunt down and removed the pirate threat from the 'eastern gate' colonies. On her way to Padek aylhr received a distress call from the small fringe colony of ch'daemnh, upon arrival the Aylhr discovered a band of pirates attacking the colony. Aylhr was successful in destroying the main force of the Pirates sending the last pirate vessel limping home, but it was not alone. The Leih (tr'Ahaefvthe) got an interesting idea and had one of the bombers tail the pirates to see if they would lead them to the main base of operations.
Soon after the bomber departed to tail the pirate ship, the main horse of the task force arrived (ironically after Aylhr so graciously saved the colony) and remained to see if the bomber was successful in locating the main pirate base.
As expected the damaged pirate ship lead the Aylhr's bomber strait to their base. Once the bomber located the base they were able to successfully mark the location and send message back. The task force commander tr'Rugon decided the Aylhr and two smaller support ships should remain behind while they (the task force) took out the base and soon departed from ch'daemnh to engage the pirates.
Meanwhile, as Aylhr stayed behind an interesting discovery was made on the planet by the locals. The Leih was contacted by the leader of the colony and took a small away team with him down to the planet where they saw a large alien structure. Further investigation revealed that a stray weapons blast from the pirate battle was the reason it was revealed. As the team continued to study it they fell into some sort of sink hole, unable to get out they located an entrance into the structure and decided to head in.
At that same time the task force along with the Aylhr's bomber team engaged the Pirate base, through an intense battle the task force was just too overpowering and was able to destroy the pirate base easily.
Meanwhile back on the Aylhr tr'Kal beams down to find the Leih gone, along with tr'Fallorn he begins an investigation. Soon after they begin to search they locate the sink hole, fearing for his own life tr'Fallorn flees, but as irony would have it, as he fled he slipped into a section of molten sand from where the structure was powering up and dies a slow death.
Back on the Aylhr the Bomber team returns as a new face arrives, a replacement RS by the name of Aeryrn had come to replace tr'Fallorn as RS, unknown to the crew tr'Fallorn was already dead.
Down on the planet the team led by the Leih continued their adventure through the structure, the interior was like a bright maze and it was difficult for them to see. Finally they reached some sort of central complex or command center where they discovered three bodies near a crystal panel. While in the command center, it appeared they had triggered some ancient mechanism after removing an artifact from a crevice on the console, slowly a video message plays but as it does the room cools forming an ice shield around them. The team did not notice the ice until it was too late and the ice had formed trapping the team in the command center. Quickly learning that disruptors are of no use tr'Ahaefvthe activates the panel in desperation, at that moment the structure appears to power up, but the ice melts and the team escapes.
As the team hurries down the corridors from which they came the structure begins to rumble and come to life, as the team hurried towards the exit they run into tr'Kal who informs them that the exit from which they came is no longer available to them. Quickly making a decision the Leih turned the group around and headed back to the command center where they see the three bodies have returned to life and were moving around. At that instance tr'Kal drew his sword and they prepared themselves incase the aliens were hostile, but they soon were enveloped in a bright white light.
The group slowly wakes up finding themselves in the desert a few kilometers away from the structure, from there they watch as a massive explosion occurs and a large wall of sand fly past them. What lay in the wake of the structure was a shock to them all; it was a massive Alien vessel that had been buried in the sands of the ch'daemnh desert for centuries upon centuries, and it was alive.
The alien vessel began to ascend causing the group to beam back to the Aylhr. Disregarding formalities with his new RS the Leih quickly became aware that the Alien vessel was about to leave the planet, its size and volume ten times that of the Aylhr. The situation deteriorates quickly as the Aylhr is hampered by massive power flocculation's and communication malfunctions which are all attributed to the alien vessel. The tr'Ahaefvthe attempted to order the other Romulan ships not to fire on the Alien vessel but was unable to due to the communication issue, as the Romulan ships open fire their beam disruptors were absorbed and the alien vessel destroyed them all.
As the Alien Ship neared the Aylhr she lost all power, causing a complete blackout. The Aylhr would remain without power for at least a day, which is when engineering was finally able to bring everything back on line. When power was restored the Aylhr was alone in orbit, the alien ship was gone. A comprehensive search of surrounding sectors revealed nothing, the Alien ship was gone, it had vanished. One question weighed heavily on their minds after the mission, 'What happened to the Ship...and where did they go?'
"Jurai War Saga" Plot
The SRR Aylhr arrived to the Sei’Ael headquarters at Belian Secondus and Koahht Anahos. The Leih went to a meeting where he was informed that the Sei’Ael will be involved in the upcoming war with Jurai, but specific details were not handed out.
After the meeting he went with two old Commander friends onto Belian Secondus to talk for awhile. While they spoke Sella Donnas became curious of the Leih’s activities and spied on him and the group. She was quickly noticed but at the same time the Aylhr's RS appeared causing a bit of confusion, a small disruptor fight erupted between the two other Leihs and Donnas but she was quick to escape.
Meanwhile
on the Aylhr a suspect group of Tal’Shiar arrived to begin upgrading the
Aylhr communication systems. Argelian finding it curious confronted the
Tal’Shiar Leih but was unable to get far. Later in a meeting with his RS
he asked her to watch the agents closely. The SRR Aylhr was been called
out to a remote section of space on a search and rescue mission after the
discovery of an emergency beacon. Details about the mission are sketchy at
best and with a new crew, tensions among the senior staff is high. The
Aylhr heads to the destination of the
emergency beacon.
The
SRR Aylhr (finally) got to the injured war bird to find it badly damaged
and apparently uninhabited. Upon
The Aylhr opened fire, but only managed to destroy the warbird they were meant to be saving! The Aylhr gave chase only to be attacked by two corvettes. After a brief encounter with two Jurai intercept vessels, both of which were easily dispatched. The Aylhr deployed all fighters to finish the job and immediately went back to warp in an effort to catch the fleeing Jurai Cruiser containing captured Rihannsu Gai`Shian.
As the Aylhr sped towards the Jurai, their more advanced engines allowing them to gain on the fleeing captors, the Fighters reported the Intercept vessels destruction. Just as the Aylhr began to overtake the Jurai ship, the Jurai leader decided to drop out of warp and hail the Aylhr, wishing to talk of surrender. After *brief* negotiations the Jurai vessel agreed to turn itself over to the Aylhr, its Officers captured and its crew returned home. Marines swept the ship moving the Jurai crew into the various brigs. "Return to Absence" Plot This is the Aylhr's Award Winning Plot, becoming the only RSE email sim ever to receive a Bergen
A Galae hero from the eastern front would be appointed as Praetor by the senate. Galae’Enriov tr’Mandak swept into office with the promise of victory against the Federation and the restoration of Romulan power in the galaxy. However, the truth was much different. Having been exiled to the eastern fleets, down trotted by the Galae, and stepped on by the senate, when he finally made his name standard, tr’Mandak promised he would seek revenge.
Using the destruction of the 24th Fleet as focal point of his proclaimed ‘threat’ to the Empire, tr’Mandak ordered the major Romulan fleets to head to the front lines in preparation of great glory, though he had other intentions. With the space above Romulus clear he could begin his plans uninterrupted.
Meanwhile, the Aylhr had been busy on the neutral zone ordered to escort a Federation ship, the USS Tempest, to meet with the new Praetor. A group of overzealous Romulan captains thinking the Aylhr was attacking the Tempest decided they wanted to share in the glory and attempted to dispatch the Federation ship. Luckily the Aylhr was able to obvert the possible catastrophe and escort the Tempest to Romulus.
During the ruckus, a forgotten name reappeared, Lessa t’Brennan. The shock of her appearance caught the crew of the Aylhr off guard. Lessa t’Brennan was originally exiled after being labeled a traitor for failing to assassinate the child of Federation Rear Admiral Morgana Kanryth. Lessa, wanting to prevent another war informed Argelian that the real traitor was actually Praetor tr’Mandak.
When he arrived on Romulus Riov tr’Verelan would be questioned harshly by the new Praetor and his counterpart Ael’Riov t’Nang. They demanded to know why the other vessels interfered with Aylhr, and what the traitor Lessa t’Brennan had to say to him. Argelian answered, and told them he did not know where they had gone, and was dismissed.
While on Romulus, Argelian would be contacted by the head of his clan, the old and well respected Senator tr’AAnikh, and the Tal’Diann [Naval Intelligence] Commander, Khre’Riov t’Neyl. They would tell him of their suspicions about tr’Mandak. Later that day while at his home on ch’Havran Riov tr’Verelan would be attacked by an assassination squad headed by Ael’Riov t’Nang. Seeing something unfolding on the planet below the Aylhr’s crew spring into action, sending a team of officers to Argelian’s aid before the assassins can rid of him.
During the fighting Argelian is injured, but the Aylhr crew manages to get him back to the ship. When they attempt to flee several of Ael’Riov t’Nang’s own vessels decloak and attack the Aylhr. Just when it looked like the Aylhr was finished, another warbird lead by Riov Den t’Kethry decloaked and engaged t’Nang’s vessels destroying them. A strike team from the Aylhr would end up boarding Ael’Riov t’Nang’s vessel and capture her. When she is brought before Argelian, his temper gets the best of him and he kills her. During this, Senator tr'AAnikh would confront the Praetor about his plans, not wishing to kill such an honored person, Mandak instead has tr'AAnikh imprisoned in the bowels of the Senate.
Meanwhile, Lessa t’Brennan fearing an all out war by the Praetor enlisted the help of several vessels to her cause. When she meets up with Khre’Riov t’Neyl in orbit of ch’Vania, she asks whether the Khre’Riov would be joining her. Instead t’Neyl gives an order and 320 ships decloak, the 320 ships belong to the 24th fleet, which was supposed to have been destroyed. T’Neyl requests to meet personally with Lessa t’Brennan. On Aylhr, Argelian decided to join the resistance movement to stop the Praetor and along with Riov t’Kethry the Aylhr sets out to ch’Vania.
Meeting up with t’Brennan and t’Neyl, Argelian finally learns of the Praetors plans. Having kidnapped a Torhie queen, he has led the powerful insectoid race through the eastern fringes towards the world of ir’Rak Prime. Gathering the entire western Galae at ir’Rak prime he plans on using the Torhei to obliterate them, allowing his eastern fleets to become supreme. After ridding of the western Galae nuisance he the planned to rain the Torhei monsters onto the Federation and Klingons. However, t’Neyl and several other high ranking officials plan on stopping the Praetor.
The Aylhr’s role was quite clear, using its Tal’Shair detachment the Aylhr would beam them onto the Praetor’s vessel where they would take the Torhie queen and escape from the system leading the insectoids away. As a distraction teams from both Lessa t’Brennan and Ameh’ah t’Neyl’s vessels would board also and try to reach the Praetor. Before they had time to consider this plan of action word was sent that the Torhei had reached the fringes of ir’Rak prime.
Returning to Aylhr, Argelian, and the gathered forces entered warp to stop the Praetor and save the western fleets. Ahead of them six vessels under the Command of Riov tr’Jirhis are able to convince the commander of the western fleets to break off. Infuriated that his forces were abandoning him tr’Mandak begins to order them to attack the western fleets but is stopped when several hundred warbirds decloak behind him. His own eastern fleets refuse to open fire, leaving only his personal fleet of a hundred odd ships to defeat him.
The Praetor’s fleet resisted viciously, fighting tooth and nail to keep the opposing forces from reaching him. However, with sheer will the Aylhr and Kaytolla reach him sending boarding parties onto the Praetor’s vessel. Onboard the Praetor’s vessel his guards prove tough, Khre’Riov t’Neyl is almost killed by a weapon’s blast but is saved by t’Brennan who sacrifices herself for the Tal’Diann commander. In her dieing breaths she kills the Praetor’s elite Rei’Krannsu guard. With no opposition t’Neyl and her forces break into the command room of the Praetor’s ship and kill him. With his death the war ends, the Praetor’s fleet surrenders and the Aylhr returns to Koahht Anahos.
The Tal’Shiar unit is able to lead the Torhei into an asteroid field that had been mined with subspace weaponry. When the Torhei finally reached their queen they were instantly vaporized, ending the Torhei threat against the Romulans.
The end of the war meant big changes; tr’AAnikh accepted the title of Praetor returning the fledgling Romulan Republic back to the Romulan Star Empire. The Praetor would later resign his post from fatigue. Argelian tr’Verelan would end up exiled to the eastern fringes of Romulan space for his “protection.” After this final battle the Aylhr’s crew scattered across the stars, their destiny having forever been etched in the annuals of Romulan History as the “defenders of the declared.”
