Transwarp drive was initiated and everything went well. As the Avalon-A approached the asteroid field where its Science mission was supposed to begin, the ship came to an abrupt stop with some casualties occuring. The ship has found itself trapped partially in subspace and the other half in regular space. The bridge and sickbay are trapped in subspace with almost no power while engineering finds itself trapped in normal space with power but no warp engines offline. Meanwhile, on V`lem, the away team continues to work on treating the mumps epidemic that seems to have no cure.
