Before they leave, however, Cmdr Williams recieves some information for their next mission which will take place after Avalon returns from shoreleave. Lt Cmdr Williams recieves a memo naming him the new Executive Officer. Upon arriving on the bridge, he runs into Shannara Inora, who has just left a meeting with the Admiral, who reduced her rank and removed her from the XO position. The two talk and Shannara is asked to remain on board as ship's counselor.
