While the crew performs their usual tasks, Sean receives shocking news when LtCmdr Inora reports to duty with him as his new XO.   Sean soon finds that the woman sent by the subfleet, has no experience whatsoever in commanding a starship nor assisting in diplomatic talks. Still he decides to give her an opportunity to prove herself.   But the new AXO is not welcome among the crew as most of them feel she is holding a place she does not deserve, specially when she has no experience.   Meanwhile in engineering, Yaroslav noticed a sudden shudder as the ship travels at warp speed.
