After finding evidence that the CTAC and XO of the Avalon had run away for a romantic adventure, Camelot calls off the search. Back on the ship, Rear Admiral Reece is contacted by the mastermind of the abduction of his officers and friend. The kidnapper quickly makes his demands: the resignation of Reece. In case he does not comply with this request, he warns that not only the three missing crew will face death, but that he intends to destroy the Avalon as well. The bridge crew works to track down the transmission and soon put a name to the kidnapper: Capt Oliver Mason. Our CO is taken by surprise with this new information, as he seems to know this man. Meanwhile, Steven, Renaud and Regan have to deal with their own problems. Renaud's prison collapses after two fighters began practicing shooting at the debris where they are been held. Facing to be poisoned with the failure of the ship, Renaud is force to leave it, Luckily he's able to find an EVA suit and oxygen tanks that allow him to go out into space. On the other derelict ship, Steven realizes that his air and power is running out but can't do anything to stop it, as he's already freezing to death. Finally, Regan is severely injured after incidentally been stabbed.
