Despite the cadet's greeting, Cala promises to accommodate him on a better place. On board the ship, Lt Lori Devine makes sure that all the equipment they have requested for the Science Department is safely stock and unpacked. While doing so, the XO Cmdr Regan pays her a visit and surprises her by handing her some awards. Later, Lori joins Lt Jarred Accura on the station where he will start his rehabilitation and therapy that would make him walk again. Our CTAC takes his dog, Ranger, out for a walk on the promenade and soon finds the place were the organizers of the so called Death Jump are handling the subscriptions. Renaud quickly signs himself and the XO for the competition. Our mysterious character, Lt. Nemo is tipped off about who's participating on the Jump and informs his superior about it. His captain soon orders to make some 'arrangements' and to follow Renaud and Regan. Finally, our illustrious engineer, Lt.
