At the same time, Cdt Gunn and Lt. Barron search for the CTAC's dog, Ranger, who has entered the JT's following the trace of the two teenagers that have been causing too much trouble in the last days. Thanks to the heroic help of Ranger, Cdt Gunn arrests the two vandal's and escorts them to the Observation Lounge where ACO, LtCmdr Turner, is waiting for them thinking what their punishment would be. <> ~~Away Team~~ Without realizing that the 'Old One' has been playing with their emotions, LtCmdrs Spence and Regan have an 'intimate moment' on a garden they had found in the underground tunnels. Coming back to her senses, Regan drags Mark out of his lethargic state and continue the search of the rest of the away team. Not far away, Cmdr Morgan is able to find the team's gear and returns with the rest to find that Commodore's Reece mental state worsens with the hard headaches and some bleeding. She orders Jarred to do whatever to help the CO, meanwhile Lt Darsey fixes the generator. Mark and Regan have an encounter with the V'Lemian who takes them with the rest of the away team. Again the SF officer try to convince the 'Old One' they are not going to hurt him. The V'Lemian searches inside the minds of the officers and finds their statements to be true, he then explains that his people comes from the same universe that the Alliance, where they were their slaves and he's afraid that one day they will come and kill them. After knowing the truth about the origins of the V'Lemians, the 'Old One' transports the away team back to the lift entrance and warns them to never come back again.
