Upon receiving a request for a new simulation to join UCIP, the CO of the SIM will undergo an interview by the Fleet Commander and the CinC before formally going into trials. While in trials, the CO must submit technical data to the Director of R&D and each member of the crew must go through UCIP Academy. Expected time between application and going into trials should be no more than one week. Trials will last for 4 SIMulations, during which the Simualtion must operate successfully for all of those 4 weeks.
