The United Confederation of Interstellar Planets (UCIP) is under the command of Commander in Chief, Donald. UCIP is one of the most exciting Star Trek Simulation groups on the Internet, providing people with a huge variety of fleets and alien races to be a part of today. UCIP is also the longest established group on the Internet, serving Star Trek fans for over 10 years!
UCIP is a Star Trek Roleplaying Organization founded by Fleet Admiral Mark Miller. Our main goal here at UCIP has always been a simple one - to provide Star Trek fans and enthusiasts alike with realistic Star Trek Simulations for them to participate in, but more importantly, to make sure they are fun and entertaining.
 
This goal of providing entertaining simulations is achieved in three ways, by IRC, Email, Forum, and AIM. UCIP provides online simulations which are conducted via Internet Relay Chat (IRC). This method allows for live interaction between other officers. Another similar method is through AIM for people who don't have IRC. The last method is through Email or Forums. This involves writing story-like "Logs" which are sent too all the crew of the ship/starbase/etc.. Whilst it may lack the live interaction of IRC, it allows for greater character development and creative writing.
 
The Confederation is made up of the 2 major governments - TrekOps and the Independent Simming Division. Within these fleets are the various Starships, Starbases, Colonies and Secret Service Branches which you can join. The Confederation Academy is where you will receive your training on how to sim. Once you graduate, begin your career in one or more of the fleets and prepare to explore the galaxy.
